There will be no general meeting of the CHGA this December. Instead, we'll be celebrating the holidays at the annual CHGA Christmas Party! This year's hosts are Dan and Maureen Tomlinson; directions to their home in Woodbridge VA are available. Maureen is very excited about hosting our crowd of rowdy flyers in presentable clothes -hint- and with family members along to temper our deportment. She has asked that folks let her know how many will attend, so please RSVP at this address:
Dan has said that he wants to hold this party as
something of a 'last-hurrah' for their home, since they'll
be moving in the near future. Let's not disappoint! :)

year! There will be contests, glider demos, barbecue-n-beer,

The CHGA and MHGA will be holding their annual Fly-In and Just-For-Fun XC Competition in late September. Details about the event can be found at the HGFest'2000 website. We'll have trophies for best team and individual finishers, a raffle with great prizes, and a kick-butt party on Saturday night! Ya gotta be there! |
