I am looking forward to the next club meeting and hope that you can make it. The attendance at the meetings has been in a general decline due to, among other things, the use of the listserver to tell flying stories and share info. However, there are benefits to having monthly club meetings, and I am requesting help and/or ideas on how to make the meetings more interesting and improve attendance.

For example, I have asked Greg DeWolf to come back in the fall and give another course on launching and landing skills - this time to focus on landing. The last course was very helpful in pointing out how we can improve our flying, especially our launches. This time he will share with us his analysis of landing skills.

If anyone has ideas or could volunteer to give a presentation to the club (such as a first aid course), please let me or another board member know. See you in the air!
