Program for Studying for Ham Exam

To help you get your Technician's license, Ralph Sickinger has written a simple program for reviewing and studying the questions in the Tech Class exam pool.

Version v0.92 adds a sample test capability, and some basic statistics by question group to help you figure out what you need to review. It also corrects a typographic error in the question file.

• Adds the ability to shuffle the order of the questions (either for the entire list, or just by group), so you don't remember answers to questions based on their order.

• Adds the ability to order the answers randomly (so that you get to know the actual answer, and not just a specific letter)

• Adds the ability to answer questions by pressing the letters "A"-"D" on the keyboard, by pressing the numbers "1"-"4".

• Improves the statistical reporting.

• Graphics (Windows Bitmaps) replaced with smaller JPEG files.

Also, some people had trouble with the .ZIP file that I had posted, so I have replaced it with a self-extracting file called "tcsg_setup.exe"; you can now get this from my ham-radio page at http://sickinger.net/ham
