2008 High Rock Fly-In and Party
High Rock, MD
The High Rock Fly-In is scheduled for October 11th and 12th. Last year was a huge
success, raising a nice sum of money for Emma and the LZ fund. Everyone made it
happen last year by turning out. Yeah...weather was pretty sweet too and we lucked
out, but mainly it was the great turn-out by everyone.
Things are still in the planning stage but we hope to mirror last year with great
food, a wine tasting, bonfire and raffles. Weather permitting we may attempt some
sort of fun competition ( bomb drop, spot landing, etc. ) but that will be a last
minute thing organized by the MHGA Fright Director. Stay tuned.
Of course if anybody would love to volunteer some time helping out or staging
something crazy for the groups' entertainment, I'd love to hear from you!
So... Mark your calendars, visit the MHGA website for updates ( marylandhanggliding.org )
and please make the effort to support High Rock ( again ). Spread the word !! :D
Cheers! Richard HaysPrez. MHGA
